Father and son -I presume- while setting a bird trap:
a circle with birds in tiny cages
and in the middle two even less fortunate ones on a rope that allows them to fly some 20cm up.
Finally, a net that closes from both sides on top of them when the father pulls the rope.
What got to me was what happens on the bird level:
with their singing those birds in captivity lure the free birds into the trap,
who -once caught- will do the same to other free birds.
That’s real stupid, isn’t it?
In stead of warning the others,
they call them, condemning them to life in a cage.
And how can those free birds not see those cages,
how can they?
Just how blind can one get,
giving in the freedom to fly,
just like that,
to live in a cage.
